Neil Patrick Harris Discusses Barney/Robin Relationship

In an interview with TV Guide, Neil Patrick Harris (interviewed at McGee's bar in NYC, the inspiration for McClaren's Pub) discusses what he thinks of the Barney and Robin relationship: what he thinks it means and also what he thinks will happen. There's also a little comment about Britney Spears's performance on the show. It's a funny interview with some "Cobie is smokin'!" talk, despite Harris being gay in real life. You can check out the amazing clip here!

HIMYM: Season 4, Episode 1

According to tv.com, the first episode already entails some "Barney-loves-Robin" plot. On the episode summary on the website, it has underneath the date (Monday, September 22, 2008) the very small description:

"Stella has to give Ted an answer. Barney wants to say something to Robin" tv.com.

Does this mean that Barney tells Robin in the first episode that he loves her? No clue, but we're sure that we're all eager to see their relationship unfold in this upcoming season! You can share your answer in the poll below!

Also, what will Stella's answer be? But we understand that that's the least of all our concerns for the show at this moment....

Let's Celebrate A Belated Birthday to....Neil Patrick Harris

Neil Patrick Harris, known for playing roles in Doogie Howser, M.D., Harold & Kumar/White Castle/Guantanamo Bay, and of course, How I Met Your Mother, turned thirty-five this past Father's Day. The June 15th Birthday Boy grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and grew up in Ruidoso, New Mexico. He picked up theatre in elementary school, playing such roles as Toto in The wizard of Oz. Not longer after, in 1989, he landed the role of a lifetime in, Doogie Howser, M.D. Starring as the title character, NPH jump-started his career. This also landed him with several awards including a People's Choice Award for Favorite Male Performer in a New Series (1990) and a Golden Globe Nomination (1990).When the show ended in 1993, Neil worked on stage productions, some being Fiddler On The Roof and Rent. He then appeared in some feature films: Starship Troopers (1997) along with Casper Vien Dien, and The Proposition (1998). NPH found himself more and more on the small screen (a guest appearance on the show Numb3rs), until his latest role as Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother. The show began in 2005, and will return with its fourth season in the Fall of 2008. Unlike his character as the womanizer Barney, NPH in real life is actually gay. Neil told people in November of 2006 that he was homosexual, and luckily, his career is still up and running. He must be a great actor to portray a character like Barney! So happy (belated) birthday NPH! You've got fans right here!
